Hilary fell in love with jewelry making while studying at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax. Upon earning a BFA in 2010  with a Silversmithing major, she decided to create Dreamboat Lucy. A line of everyday jewelry that was affordable, unique, and handcrafted. Because of her use of precious metals in combination with various crystals and gemstones, most of Dreamboat Lucy jewelry is one of a kind and coveted by its owners. Hilary and her family moved back to her home province of PEI in 2023 after spending 10 years living in Calgary, AB and Halifax NS. She currently lives in a 19th century farmhouse where she has her studio and all DbL jewelry is made.
